Khanna Knitwears has a long and strong presence for about four decades in the apparels industry. We are leading manufacturers and exporters of hosiery and knitwear products. Khanna Knitwears is a Partnership Firm having its registered office in Ludhiana District of Punjab State in India.
We have a state of the art production unit at Village Baranhara, Hambran Road, Ludhiana-141008 (Punjab), India.
Our manufacturing unit is fully equipped with the most modern machines. For automatic knitting, there are 14 computerized machines including 12 computerized machines 8GG besides 272 hand and semi automatic knitting machines - HAND FLATS 12GG, 8GG, 7GG, 6GG, 4GG, 2.5GG - and 168 sewing machines. In addition to these machines, we have 29 Linking Machines and 18 Over-locks. Our works is equipped with 9 Steam-presses, 3 Washing & Milling Machines, and 5 Tumbler Dryers.
From the production point of view we have two Departments; one is Hosiery and the other is Knitwear.
Our Hosiery Department deals with Polo Pique T-shirts in plain and auto stripes. We have an installed capacity of 68,000 pieces per month. Presently our Hosiery manufacturing Department produces 2500 pieces of hosiery garments and apparels per day and 55,000 to 60,000 pieces of garments in a month.
In the Hosiery Department we use different blending such as 100% polyester, Polyester & cotton ratio of 40:60, 100% cotton and any other blend that we can evolve.
Our main international buyers are from Dubai, Muscat and Kuwait where we export most of our products. Our other important and prominent buyers include Shoppers Stop, Pantaloon, Big Bazaar, Koutons, Weekender, Piramyd, and Max Retail.
Our Knitwear Department deals with sweaters for men, women and kids.
In the Knitwear Department, we use the best quality materials for blending, such as cotton, cotton blends, wool, wool blends, Acro-wool, lambs-wool, Angora Wool, Mohair, Alpaca, Viscous blends and polyester viscous. Beside these, we also use various other fancy yarns and blends.
The manufacturing capacity of Knitwear Department is 40,000 to 45,000 pieces of garments every month. April to December is the period of peak production for us.
We have a rich list of delighted buyers and high fashion boutiques for sweaters and woolen apparels from various countries like USA, Dubai, Paris and United Kingdom; we export most of our products of knitwear garments to these countries. Some of our most prominent buyers are Steve & Barrys (USA), Lifestyle Stores, Pantaloon, Shoppers Stop, Big Bazaar, Kids, Wrangler, Arrow Women, Excalibur, Max Retail, Reliance, ITC, Jealous, Viva City, Mufti, Black, Tng and Black Berrys.
